Mapillai Samba Rice is an ancient and traditional variety of rice grown mainly in Tamil Nadu, India. It's known for its reddish-brown color, high nutritional value, and historical use in boosting stamina and strength—especially for newlyweds, hence the name “Mapillai” (bridegroom).
