🌱 Moringa Care Tips

1. Sunlight

Needs full sun (at least 6 hours daily)

Best grown in warm, tropical or subtropical climates

2. Soil

Prefers well-drained, sandy or loamy soil

Tolerates poor soils but thrives in slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.5)

3. Watering

Water moderately; drought-tolerant once established

Avoid overwatering; ensure good drainage to prevent root rot

4. Temperature

Ideal temperature: 25°C–35°C (77°F–95°F)

Sensitive to frost and prolonged cold

5. Fertilizer

Apply organic compost or balanced fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) once a month

Avoid over-fertilization, especially with nitrogen

6. Pruning

Prune regularly to encourage bushier growth and more leaves

Cut back tall growth to about 3–4 feet to make harvesting easier

7. Pests & Diseases

Relatively pest-resistant but may attract:

Aphids

Spider mites

Caterpillars

Use neem oil or insecticidal soap for organic pest control

8. Harvesting

Can begin harvesting leaves within 3–4 months of planting

Pick young leaves for the best taste and nutrition
