Kudaivalai Rice is a traditional and lesser-known heritage rice variety from Tamil Nadu. Named after the medicinal plant Kudaivalai Keerai (Balloon Vine), this rice is believed to share similar health benefits. It is rich in iron, fiber, and antioxidants, and is considered beneficial for joint pain, nerve health, and muscle strength.
It has a unique taste and texture and is commonly used in kanji (rice porridge), idli, or soft rice dishes.

1. Storage Container:
Store in a clean, dry, airtight container to prevent moisture and insect entry.
2. Cool&Dry Location:
Place in a cool, dry area, away from sunlight and humidity.
3. Pest Prevention:
Add bay leaves, dried neem leaves, or red chilies to the container to naturally repel insects.
Avoid storing near other grains that may already have pests.
