Cooking Method, Soak atthi Millet Vermicelli in 1 liter of water for 3 minutes. Don’t soak more than 3 minutes because it will become gooey. Drain off the water and steam cook it for 3 to 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep the cooked vermicelli aside. Let it cool. Sweet Version of Millet Vermicelli: Take the steamed vermicelli in a bowl and add grated coconut or coconut milk, Jaggery powder as required, and sprinkle a pinch of powdered cardamom (optional). Mix it well and serve! Spicy version of Millet Vermicelli: Heat 2 tbsp. cooking oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds. Once it starts to pop and add urad dal and channa dal, then add the finely chopped onion, curry leaves, green chilly and saute well. Then add some boiled vegetables like carrot, beans, etc. (Optional) and mix well. Add required salt to it. Now add the steamed vermicelli and mix it thoroughly. Adjust the salt.
